Your new role You will be required to work closely with the Nursery Manager in the general day to day running of the Nursery including assisting with HR duties, upkeep of the Nursery, Financial Duties as well as ensuring all staff working at the Nursery are up to date with Child Safeguarding and Protection policies.

The nursery uses a mix of learning techniques to provide children with their best possible start in life and ensure that levels of education and care are portrayed as Outstanding by Ofsted.

On top of this, you will be required to assist with the care and support of children within the Nursery and liaise with parents. You will be working across two rooms, and under two’s room and a 2-4 years room. The hours of this position will predominantly be on a shift pattern between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

What you'll need to succeed You will need to have previous experience of working as a Deputy Nursery Manager or have a vast and proven experience of being a Nursery Room Leader, ready to take the next steps in your career.

You will be qualified to at least a level 3, however level 6 is preferred and you will have excellent knowledge of SEN, child protection and safeguarding policies and the EYFS.
